Mark Colbert is an artist, an entrepreneur and a maker. He creates works from repurposed materials, and has helped us tell the story of Hartford’s past, present and future.
We’ve worked with Mark on several projects.
Hartford Skyline Bike Rack
He built the structure for our water bottle Chihuly and hanging kaleidoscope.
This Planter Bench was made from a refuse container.
He created bicycle sculptures from old bike parts.
This interactive deer was created and covered with holiday messages at Winterfest Hartford.
Mark also used his skill to create the 2012 awards for Hartford’s first Innovation prize presented to: Walter Wick, Jimmy Greene, Charles Kaman, and the Melville Charitable Trust.
