PEDHEAD WAYFINDING
Two hundred seventy-five wayfinding signs and one hundred thirty-five maps have been installed in downtown Hartford. The signs and maps are there to promote walking in Downtown Hartford by letting pedestrians know where and how far away many civic and cultural landmarks are located. The signs are mounted on the backs of the “walk/don’t walk” signals (also known as “pedheads"), which is where pedestrians most need information about the locations of key destinations in order to chose their walking route. -
iQUILT BANNERS

iQUILT PUBLIC WORKSHOP
These images show the community's participation in a workshop held on March 30th 2011 at the Public Library on Main Street which focused on Bushnell Park and its connections to the rest of the city. -
NEA SUBMISSION
The images submitted to the National Endowment for the Arts, which won for Hartford the top grant of $250,000.
